WATCH: PragerU’s Will Witt Asks People On The Street If Celebrity Opinions Matter
On Tuesday, Prager University uploaded a new video in which Will Witt took to the streets of Los Angeles to pose the following question to average Americans: “Do you take celebrity’s political opinions seriously?” The specific celebrity opinion to which Witt is referring deals with firearms.
Perhaps the best exchange came when Witt spoke with a well-dressed blonde woman:
WITT: Do you think it’s hypocritical that all these celebrities talk about “no guns,” anti-gun, and then they have 500 policemen with guns surrounding them?
WOMAN: That, and they film movies and make money off of movies that are all about violence and guns, too.
Witt also spoke with a several individuals who didn’t like guns at all. Some wanted them confiscated, and one man just wanted “peace”:
I don’t think anyone should have a gun, but that’s just my personal – anybody but the police. … I’m all for peace, you know? Let’s all be peaceful, and hopefully not have any guns at some point in the near future.
