WATCH: Democrat Throws Herself On Stage, Cops Drag Her Out After She Refused To Leave Event
On Monday, a Democrat candidate for governor in Connecticut refused to leave an event that she was not invited to, and things got ugly.
Members of the Democratic Party told Lee Whitnum she was not allowed to participate in a forum that was held for seven Democrats who were either declared candidates or who were considering running for office.
Whitnum didn’t take it very well.
When officials told her to leave, she refused, “I have worked very hard, how dare you!”
Moments later, when police told her to leave, she again refused and decided to throw herself on the ground and scream, “It was a public event in a public venue for Democrat candidates of which I am a declared candidate!”
“If I had just walked off, I feel like I would’ve been humiliated,” Whitnum told Fox 61.
